LEED Green Associate Accreditation

Exam Prep Study Group

Register Online Through USGBC

The US Green Building Council-LI Chapter and Stony Brook University Corporate Education and Training are offering a new LEED Accreditation Study Group Program designed to prepare participants for the rigors of the LEED Green Associate accreditation exam.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), provides a suite of standards for environmentally sustainable construction. LEED Certification is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings.

LEED accreditation distinguishes building professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully steward the LEED certification process. LEED Accredited Professionals and LEED Green Associates have demonstrated a thorough understanding of green building practices and principles and the LEED Rating System.
