Project Management Solutions – A list of project management courses and certification

 

Stony Brook University is pleased to announce it’s partnership with  the Long Island Chapter of the Project Management Institute (PMI®) and Total Systems Education, Ltd. to bring professional Project Management and Business Analysis training to Long Island! Courses are hosted by Stony Brook’s Corporate Education and Training Center and taught by Total Systems Education’s professional PMP staff. Workshops are scheduled on a regular basis at Stony Brook University’s training facility and are also available for in-house delivery.

Total Systems Education, Ltd. is a PMI Global Registered Education provider (R.E.P.) and all training is accepted as “Contact Hours” for those preparing for their Project Management Professional Certification (PMP®) and as Professional Development Units (PDU®) for those working to maintain their PMP credential.

Project Management for Professional Engineers

 

The New York State Continuing Professional Competency program (CPC) requires all Professional Engineers (PE) to complete 36 Professional Development Hours (PDHs) of certified training in order to renew their license. Project Planning and Control has been certified by the Practicing Institute of Engineers to award participating PEs 24 PDHs, two-thirds of the total requirement.

 

Just in Time Training

 

Anyone who needs to learn specific tools and techniques in Project Management or Business Analysis is also able to enroll in any of the classes offered in this program.  If at some point a decision is made to work towards a Certification, these courses will be applied to that Certification Track.  By completing ANY COURSE IN This PROGRAM participants who are already PMPs will earn PDUs which are required for them to maintain their Project Management Professional certification.
